“The bouncer/doorman was polite and professional. Plenty of space, despite a decent crowd. It was a little dark, but it wasn’t a problem because it had a very cool atmosphere with good music.

“One bouncer in particular, Will, obviously works his butt off and is good at his job. When a couple started acting up and arguing with each other he made sure that patrons and the involved couple were safe. He was even bussing some tables and collecting menus for the bartenders! I’ve never seen a bouncer do that. That’s really cool. Good on ya, Will.”

““Between watching awkward dates and seeing a very animated woman celebrate her birthday, we eventually settled in and started watching the door men. Our interaction with them so far was interesting. They don’t give off that dicky bouncer vibe you’d expect at a club, Instead they were friendly and welcoming like the bar staff. One guy checked our ID’s and addressed us by name and the other held the door open for us. At one point a man came up to the bouncers and started showing off his version of mad kung foo skills. Oh the Portland shenanigans. The struggle it must have been for the door guys to hold it together! We sure didn’t! We will be back!””
“It’s a very safe bar for women. If a woman feels at all threatened/harassed by someone, security will have them removed. I’ve had men removed for trying to touch me without my consent.”
